Method
Prepare the Ribs
- 1
Season the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the pork ribs with salt and black pepper evenly on both sides. Place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
- 2
Bake the Ribs
Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
Make the Orange Soy Glaze
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- 4
Simmer
Bring the mixture to a simmer and reduce heat to low. Let it cook for about 20 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Prepare the Herb Oil
- 5
Mix Herb Oil
In a small bowl, combine chopped parsley, chopped basil, and olive oil. Add salt to taste and mix well.
Finish and Serve
- 6
Glaze the Ribs
Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the oven and brush generously with the orange soy glaze. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Remove the ribs from the oven, drizzle with herb oil, and sprinkle sliced scallions on top. Cut into portions and serve warm.
