Flatbread

Method

Flatbread Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and instant yeast. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.

  2. 2

    Knead the Dough

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  3. 3

    Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Assembling the Flatty

  1. 4

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 5

    Shape the Flatbread

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a flat rectangular shape about 1/4 inch thick.

  3. 6

    Add Marinara Sauce

Spread the house marinara sauce evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.

  4. 7

    Add Pepperoni and Cheese

Layer the pepperoni slices over the marinara sauce, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top.

  5. 8

    Sprinkle Parmesan

Finish by sprinkling the shredded parmesan cheese over the mozzarella.

  6. 9

    Bake the Flatty

Transfer the flatbread onto a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are golden brown.

  7. 10

    Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, slice into pieces, and serve hot.
