Method

Preparing the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick. Use your thumb to make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

Cooking the Burgers

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until browned, then flip and cook for another 3 minutes.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Assembling the Burgers

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Lightly toast the mini burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Burgers

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the burger patty with melted cheese. Add a slice of tomato, pickles, and your choice of ketchup and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Preparing the Sides

  1. 8

    Cook the French Fries

Prepare the French fries according to package instructions or fry them in oil until golden brown.

  2. 9

    Season the Fries

Once cooked, sprinkle with salt to taste.
