Cookie Base

Toppings

Method

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

  3. 3

In a large bowl, beat the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until creamy and well combined.

  4. 4

Mix in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  5. 5

Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  6. 6

Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the dough.

  7. 7

Scoop the dough into a large ball and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Flatten it slightly. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is just set.

  8. 8

Remove the cookie from the oven and let it cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Assembly

  1. 9

    Add Toppings

Once the cookie is slightly warm, place a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the cookie.

  2. 10

    Drizzle with Chocolate Syrup

Drizzle chocolate syrup over the ice cream and cookie to your liking.

  3. 11

    Serve

Serve immediately while the cookie is warm and the ice cream is melting.
