Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large bowl, beat the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until creamy and well combined.

Add Vanilla and Eggs
Mix in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in Chocolate Chips
Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the dough.

Scoop the dough into a large ball and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Flatten it slightly. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is just set.

Remove the cookie from the oven and let it cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
