Method

Prepare the Patties

1

Form the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the Angus beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to incorporate the seasoning without overworking the meat. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick.

2

Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.

Prepare the Toppings

3

Prepare Lettuce

Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Set aside.

4

Slice Tomato and Onion

Wash the tomato and slice it into thin rounds. Peel and slice the onion into thin rings.

Assemble the Burger

5

Build the Burger

On a plate, place a cooked patty on the bottom bun. Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, and onion rings. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve

6

Plate the Meal

Serve the burger with a side of kettle chips and two pickle spears on the side.
