Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the peeled and deveined shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, set up flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Bread the Shrimp

Dip each shrimp in flour, shaking off the excess, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. Ensure each shrimp is evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Fry the Shrimp

Carefully add the breaded shrimp to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the fried shrimp hot with the chef special coconut sauce.
