Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side (or until desired doneness). Let it rest before slicing.

  2. 2

    Make the Salad

In a bowl, combine mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Prepare Miso Soup

In a pot, combine dashi broth and miso paste. Heat gently, stirring until the miso dissolves. Add cubed tofu and sliced green onions, and serve warm.

  4. 4

    Cook White Rice

Rinse jasmine rice under cold water. In a pot, combine rice and water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.

  5. 5

    Prepare California Roll

Cook sushi rice according to package instructions. Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat, spread sushi rice, and layer avocado, cucumber, and crab sticks before rolling tightly.

  6. 6

    Make Shrimp Tempura

In a bowl, mix tempura batter with ice water. Dip shrimp into the batter and fry in hot vegetable oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

  7. 7

    Prepare Sashimi

Slice fresh salmon and tuna into thin pieces and arrange on a plate.

  8. 8

    Prepare Shumai

In a bowl, mix ground pork with chopped green onions and soy sauce. Place a small spoonful into each shumai wrapper and steam for about 10 minutes.
