Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Slice the beef into thin strips. Chop the onion and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic cloves.
- 2
Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- 3
Stir-Fry the Vegetables
In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
- 4
Cook the Beef
Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes or until the beef is cooked through.
- 5
Add Basil
Stir in the fresh basil leaves and minced garlic, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until the basil is wilted.
- 6
Serve
Remove from heat, adjust seasoning with salt if needed, and serve hot over rice or noodles.
