Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

In a bowl, combine buttermilk, salt, black pepper, and chicken breasts. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Fry the Chicken

In a deep fryer or large skillet, heat oil to 350°F (175°C). In another bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, and baking powder. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.

  3. 3

    Make the Sweet Potato Waffles

Peel and mash the sweet potatoes. In a bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Cook in a preheated waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  4. 4

    Scramble the Eggs

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk eggs in a bowl and pour into the skillet. Stir gently until scrambled and cooked to desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Cinnamon Roll

Roll out the cinnamon roll dough and spread cream cheese and sugar over it. Roll it up and slice into rounds. Bake according to package instructions.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the crispy chicken, sweet potato waffles, scrambled eggs, and warm cinnamon rolls. Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
