Method

Meatballs Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Meatball Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and parsley. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Meatballs

Shape the mixture into meatballs, approximately 2 inches in diameter.

  3. 3

    Cook the Meatballs

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the meatballs until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Mushroom Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they are browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 5

    Add Demi-glace and Cream

Stir in demi-glace, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  3. 6

    Combine Meatballs and Sauce

Return the cooked meatballs to the skillet and coat them with the mushroom sauce. Let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Parsley Potatoes Preparation

  1. 7

    Boil the Potatoes

In a pot, boil salted water and add cubed potatoes. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 8

    Drain and Toss

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter and chopped parsley, tossing to combine.
