Directions
- 1
Prepare the Baking Dish
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
- 2
Melt the Chocolate
In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until just simmering. Remove from heat and stir in the white chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Let it cool slightly.
- 3
Mix the Custard
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined. Slowly whisk in the cooled white chocolate mixture, followed by the milk.
- 4
Combine Bread and Custard
Add the cubed stale bread to the custard mixture and gently fold until all the bread is well coated. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the custard.
- 5
Bake the Pudding
Pour the bread mixture into the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the pudding is set and the top is golden brown.
- 6
Cool and Serve
Allow the bread pudding to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
