Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the Meatballs
Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a plate or tray.

Cook the Meatballs
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring 4 liters of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Combine Meatballs and Sauce
Return the browned meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for an additional 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Serve the Dish
On a plate, serve a portion of spaghetti topped with the meatballs and sauce. Garnish with additional parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
