Method

Preparing the Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Ziti

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the ziti pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sautéing the Vegetables

  1. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until the butter melts.

  2. 3

    Add Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

Add the sliced bell peppers, carrots, and zucchini to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they begin to soften.

  4. 5

    Add Spinach and Tomatoes

Stir in the cherry tomatoes and spinach leaves. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the spinach wilts and the tomatoes soften.

  5. 6

    Season

Season the mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 7

    Toss Pasta with Vegetables

Add the cooked ziti to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together until well combined.

  2. 8

    Add Parmesan

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and toss again until the cheese melts and coats the pasta.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate and Serve

Serve the Pasta Primavera warm, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
