Meatballs Preparation

Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into balls approximately 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the meatballs for about 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

Prepare Meat Sauce
In a saucepan, heat the meat sauce over medium heat until simmering.

Assemble the Dish
Once the meatballs are cooked, slice them in half. Place the bottom half on a serving plate, top with sautéed peppers and onions, pour over the meat sauce, and add shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

Melt Cheese
Place the assembled meatball dish under a broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
