Method

Preparation of Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Rub the blackening seasoning generously on both sides of the fillets.

  2. 2

    Cook the Salmon

Heat olive oil in a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat. Place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked to your liking. Remove from heat and let rest.

Preparation of Croutons

  1. 3

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the French bread into cubes.

  2. 4

    Mix and Bake

In a bowl, combine the bread cubes, minced garlic, olive oil, and salt. Toss until evenly coated. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Assembly of Salad

  1. 5

    Toss the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the chopped hearts of romaine and cherry tomatoes. Add the Caesar dressing and toss well to coat the greens.

  2. 6

    Serve the Dish

Slice the grilled salmon. Divide the salad onto plates, top each with sliced salmon, sprinkle parmesan cheese, and add croutons on top for crunch.
