Method

For the Main Dish

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken breasts and coat them evenly with the mixture.

  2. 2

    Bake the Chicken

Place the coated chicken breasts in a baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

For the Side Dish

  1. 3

    Prepare the Asparagus

While the chicken is baking, wash and trim the asparagus. In a bowl, combine the asparagus, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.

  2. 4

    Roast the Asparagus

Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top. Roast in the oven during the last 10-15 minutes of the chicken's cooking time, until tender and cheese is melted.

For Dessert

  1. 5

    Prepare the Cake Batter

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes until well combined.

  2. 6

    Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  3. 7

    Frost the Cake

Allow the cake to cool completely. Once cooled, spread the chocolate frosting evenly over the top of the cake.
