Method
Fried Cauliflower Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Gradually whisk in water until the batter is smooth.
- 3
- 4
Fry the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off. Carefully place them in the hot oil and fry in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Make the Ranch Dipping Sauce
In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and parsley until well combined.
- 6
Serve
Serve the fried cauliflower hot with ranch dipping sauce on the side. Optionally, drizzle with Buffalo sauce before serving.
