Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

3

Cream Butter and Sugars

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

4

Add Egg and Vanilla

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

5

Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

6

Transfer to Skillet

Transfer the cookie dough to a cast-iron skillet or an oven-safe pan, spreading it evenly.

7

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.

8

Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Top with scoops of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with chocolate and caramel sauce.
