1. Prepare the Crust

In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted unsalted butter, and salt. Mix until well combined and crumbly. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer.

2. Make the Filling

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add granulated sugar and mix until well combined. Add sour cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

3. Combine and Bake

Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and bake for about 50-60 minutes or until the center is set and slightly jiggly.

4. Cool and Serve

Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for about 1 hour. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before slicing and serving.
