Ingredients for Lobster Bolognese
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Lobster
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster tails and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are bright red and cooked through. Remove the tails, let them cool, and then remove the meat from the shells. Chop the lobster meat into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
Cook the Pasta
In the same pot of boiling water, add the linguini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a cup of the pasta water.
- 3
Make the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic, onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
- 4
Combine Ingredients
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for about 10-15 minutes to develop flavors.
- 5
Finish the Dish
Add the chopped lobster meat to the sauce and toss to combine. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency. Stir in fresh basil and parsley.
- 6
Serve
Toss the cooked linguini with the lobster sauce. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and additional herbs if desired.
