Pulled Pork Poutine Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
Prepare the Pork
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the pork shoulder with salt and black pepper. Sear the pork on all sides until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
Cook the Pork
Transfer the seared pork to a slow cooker. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, BBQ sauce, and beef broth. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easy to shred.
Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker to soak up the juices.
Prepare the Fries
While the pork is cooking, prepare the French fries according to package instructions or make them from scratch.
Assemble the Poutine
On a plate, layer a generous portion of French fries, top with shredded pulled pork, and sprinkle cheese curds over the top. Drizzle additional BBQ sauce if desired.
Serve
Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your pulled pork poutine!
