Pulled Chicken Preparation
Cook the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker. Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over the chicken. Pour BBQ sauce on top. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is tender.
Shred the Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it with the BBQ sauce. Keep warm until serving.

Make the Coleslaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serve the Lunch
To assemble, place 1/3 lb of pulled chicken on a Michigan bun. Serve with a side of coleslaw, housemade chips, corncake, housemade pickles, and a small container of BBQ sauce.
