Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prep the Ingredients

Start by washing and slicing the bell peppers, onion, and tomatoes. Mince the garlic and set aside.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a bowl, combine the shrimp with lime juice, salt, black pepper, cumin, and paprika. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.

  2. 4

    Add the Bell Peppers

Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for another 5 minutes until they are tender.

  3. 5

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the marinated shrimp and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

  4. 6

    Add Tomatoes

Stir in the diced tomatoes and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and the mixture is well combined.

  5. 7

    Finish with Cilantro

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped cilantro. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
