Meatballs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, chopped parsley, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. Form the mixture into small meatballs.

  2. 2

    Cook the Meatballs

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add butter and melt over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic, and sauté until mushrooms are tender. Pour in sherry wine and let simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in heavy cream, salt, and black pepper, cooking until thickened.

  4. 4

    Crisp the Prosciutto

In a separate pan, crisp the sliced prosciutto over medium heat until golden and crispy. Remove and set on paper towels to drain.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On serving plates, place the cooked meatballs and drizzle with the sherry-mushroom cream sauce. Top with crispy prosciutto and grated manchego cheese. Serve with grilled bread on the side.
