Pork Loin
Method
Pork Loin Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Pork
In a bowl, combine maple syrup, bourbon, minced garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, and salt. Place the pork loin in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
- 2
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 3
Sear the Pork
Remove the pork loin from the marinade, reserving the marinade. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork loin for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- 4
Bake the Pork
Pour the reserved marinade over the seared pork loin and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- 5
Rest and Slice
Remove the pork loin from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
