Baking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Melt the Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and mix in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.

  3. 3

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and sea salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

  5. 5

    Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the chocolate chips into the brownie batter.

  6. 6

    Layer with Caramel

Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter, then add the remaining batter on top. Drizzle the rest of the caramel sauce over the top.

  7. 7

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  8. 8

    Cool and Serve

Allow the brownies to cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares. Sprinkle with extra sea salt if desired and serve warm.
