Salmon Fillet

Method

Salmon Fillet

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

    Cook the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Remove from Heat

Transfer the cooked salmon fillets to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

Lemon Dill Sauce

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the chopped dill, lemon juice, minced garlic, sour cream, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  2. 6

    Adjust Seasoning

Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or lemon juice if necessary.

  3. 7

    Serve

Spoon the lemon dill sauce over the warm salmon fillets before serving.
