Method
Preparation
- 1
Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Prepare the Brussels sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.
Cooking
- 3
Toss with oil and seasoning
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure they are evenly coated.
- 4
Roast the Brussels sprouts
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
- 5
Add balsamic glaze
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Toss to combine.
- 6
Add Parmesan cheese
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
- 7
Serve the Brussels sprouts
Transfer the crispy Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and enjoy them warm as a delicious side dish.
