Crust Preparation

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare Crust Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine 1.5 cups of graham cracker crumbs, 0.5 cups of granulated sugar, and 0.5 cups of melted unsalted butter. Stir until well mixed.

Press Crust into Pan
Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Make sure to pack it tightly.

Bake Crust
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool while you prepare the filling.
Filling Preparation

Beat Cream Cheese
In a large mixing bowl, beat 4 cups of softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy.

Add Sugar and Sour Cream
Gradually add 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of sour cream to the cream cheese. Mix until well combined.

Add Vanilla and Eggs
Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract and then add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition.

Incorporate Flour
Add 0.5 cups of all-purpose flour and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Pour Filling into Crust
Pour the cream cheese filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan.

Bake Cheesecake
Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.

Cool and Chill
Once baked, turn off the oven, crack the door open, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for about 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

If desired, top the chilled cheesecake with sliced strawberries and drizzle with strawberry sauce before serving.
