Making the BBQ Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, mustard, honey, and liquid smoke.

Cook the Sauce
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it comes to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens slightly.

Cool the Sauce
Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool before using. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Preparing the Ribs

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Prepare the Ribs
Pat the pork ribs dry with paper towels. Rub them with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

Bake the Ribs
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, meat side up. Cover with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours or until the meat is tender.

Broil for Finish
Turn on your oven broiler and place the ribs back in the oven, uncovered. Broil for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.
