Fish Marinade

Method

Fish Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine the adobo sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the tilapia fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for a more intense flavor.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fish

Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Remove the tilapia from the marinade (discard the marinade) and place the fillets in the skillet. Cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and set aside.

Burrito Assembly

  1. 3

    Prepare the Tortillas

Warm the large flour tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet for about 10-15 seconds until pliable.

  2. 4

    Layer the Ingredients

On each tortilla, spread about 1/2 cup of cooked rice in the center, followed by 1/4 cup of black beans, a piece of cooked tilapia, a dollop of sour cream, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and a few slices of avocado.

  3. 5

    Wrap the Burrito

Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up from the bottom to the top, ensuring all fillings are enclosed. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.

  4. 6

    Serve

Cut the burritos in half and sprinkle with chopped cilantro before serving. Enjoy your delicious fish burritos!
