Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Prepare the Bread
Take two slices of bread and lay them flat on a clean surface.

Add Cheese
Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each slice of bread.

Close the Sandwich
Put the two slices together to form a sandwich.

Butter the Bread
Spread butter evenly on the outer sides of the sandwich.

Flip and Grill
Carefully flip the sandwich and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread is golden brown.

Slice and Serve
Remove from skillet, slice in half, and set aside.
Tomato Soup

Add Tomatoes
Pour in the canned tomatoes, including the juice, and stir well.

Add Broth and Seasoning
Add vegetable broth, salt, pepper, and basil to the pot. Stir to combine.

Simmer the Soup
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.

Blend the Soup
Using an immersion blender or a regular blender, blend the soup until smooth.

Serve Hot
Serve the hot tomato soup in bowls alongside the grilled cheese sandwich.
