Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

  1. 3

    Sauté the Shrimp

In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  2. 4

    Add Shrimp

Add the wild caught Gulf shrimp to the skillet. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, stirring occasionally.

  3. 5

    Finish the Dish

Once the shrimp are cooked, add the cooked casarecce pasta to the skillet. Pour in the lemon juice and toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to create a light sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
