Method

Prepare the Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine the white fish fillets with lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the fish evenly.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fish

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky.

Make the Pico de Gallo

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice, jalapeño (if using), and salt. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

  2. 4

    Let it Rest

Allow the Pico de Gallo to sit for about 10 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Prepare the Avocado Topping

  1. 5

    Mix Avocado Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the diced avocados with lime juice and salt. Gently toss to coat the avocados without mashing them.

Assemble the Dish

  1. 6

    Plate the Fish

Place the grilled fish fillets on a serving plate.

  2. 7

    Top with Pico de Gallo

Spoon a generous amount of Pico de Gallo over the fish.

  3. 8

    Add Avocado

Top the dish with the avocado mixture.
