    Prepare the Glass

    Place the martini glass in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to chill.

    Chill the Ingredients

    Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes and let it chill for about 5 minutes.

Mixing

    Combine Ingredients

    In the chilled mixing glass, pour 2 oz of gin and 0.5 oz of dry vermouth over the ice.

    Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

    Strain

    Strain the mixture into the pre-chilled martini glass.

Garnishing
