Main Ingredients

Spices and Seasoning

Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Cook Pasta

Add 200g of pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

Preparing the Sauce

  1. 4

    Sauté Garlic

In the same pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 5

    Add Tomatoes

Add 250g of halved cherry tomatoes to the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they start to soften and release their juices.

  3. 6

    Add Spinach

Stir in 150g of fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 7

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a sauce that coats the pasta.

  2. 8

    Season the Dish

Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste, mixing well.

  3. 9

    Serve

Plate the pasta and garnish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
