Buddha Bowl Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Rice

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of organic brown long-grain rice with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tofu

While the rice is cooking, grill the cubed organic smoky tofu on a grill pan or outdoor grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and slightly crispy on the edges.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Buddha Bowl

In a large bowl, layer the organic spring mix as the base. Add the cooked brown rice on top, followed by the sea veggie salad, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, and grilled tofu.

  4. 4

    Add Sauce and Sprouts

Drizzle the sweet and tangy tahini-based BBQ sauce over the assembled ingredients and top with a handful of sprouts.

  5. 5

    Serve

Mix gently before serving to combine flavors and enjoy your Buddha Bowl!
