Ingredients for Brewing Non-Alcoholic Beer
Method
Brewing Directions
- 1
Mashing
In a large pot, heat 15 cups of water to approximately 150°F (65°C). Add the malted barley and maintain the temperature for 60 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- 2
Boiling
After mashing, raise the temperature to a boil. Once boiling, add the hops and boil for 60 minutes.
- 3
Cooling
After boiling, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches about 70°F (21°C).
- 4
Fermentation
Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel. Add the yeast and seal the vessel with an airlock. Allow it to ferment at room temperature for 1-2 weeks.
- 5
Bottling
Once fermentation is complete, mix in the priming sugar. Transfer the beer into bottles, leaving some space at the top, and cap them.
- 6
Conditioning
Allow the bottles to condition at room temperature for another 1-2 weeks to carbonate.
- 7
Enjoy
Chill the bottles and enjoy your homemade non-alcoholic beer!
