Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cantaloupe

Peel and cube the cantaloupe into small pieces. You'll need about 200 grams after peeling.

  2. 2

    Soak the Gelatin

Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes until they soften.

Clarification Process

  1. 3

    Blend Cantaloupe

In a blender, combine the cubed cantaloupe with 100 ml of water and blend until smooth.

  2. 4

    Strain the Cantaloupe Puree

Pour the blended cantaloupe through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl to extract the juice. Discard the solids.

  3. 5

    Dissolve the Gelatin

Heat a small amount of the cantaloupe juice in a saucepan until warm (do not boil). Remove from heat and stir in the softened gelatin until completely dissolved.

  4. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cantaloupe juice, macchu pisco, green chartreuse, lime juice, and chopped cilantro.

  5. 7

    Incorporate Gelatin

Stir the dissolved gelatin mixture into the large bowl of combined ingredients until fully incorporated.

Serving

  1. 8

    Chill the Mixture

Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours or until completely chilled and set.

  2. 9

    Serve

Once set, pour the Pisco Milk Punch into chilled glasses. Garnish with a sprig of cilantro if desired.
