Prepare the Apples
Wash and core the apples, then chop them into small pieces. You can leave the skin on for added flavor.

Heat the Mixture
Heat the mixture over medium heat until it just begins to boil. Then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.

Cool and Strain
After simmering, remove the pot from heat and let it cool. Once cooled, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean fermentation vessel.

Add the yeast and lemon juice to the strained liquid, stirring gently to combine.

Cover the fermentation vessel with a cloth and let it sit in a cool, dark place for 5 to 7 days, stirring daily.

Let the bottled cider age in a cool, dark place for at least 2 to 4 weeks before consuming.
