Main Ingredients

Method

Cooking the Meat

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

  2. 2

Cook the Ham or Sausage Patty

In the same skillet, add the 2 oz of ham or the sausage patty. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until heated through and slightly browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Preparing the Bread

  1. 3

Toast the English Muffin or Biscuit or Bread

While the meat is cooking, split the English muffin or biscuit in half. If using toast, prepare your choice of bread. Lightly butter each half (if desired) and toast them in the toaster until golden brown.

Optional Egg and Cheese

  1. 4

    Cook the Egg

If using an egg, crack it into the same skillet and cook to your liking (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.). Season with salt and pepper.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking the egg, place a slice of cheese on top to melt.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 6

    Layer the Ingredients

Take the bottom half of your toasted bread and layer with 2 slices of bacon, followed by the ham or sausage patty. If you cooked an egg, place it on top, followed by the melted cheese.

  2. 7

    Finish the Sandwich

Cap the sandwich with the top half of the toasted bread. Serve immediately while warm.
