Method

Dip Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking the dip.

  2. 2

    Prepare Spinach

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the fresh spinach until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly, then chop it finely.

  3. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, sautéed spinach, and chopped artichoke hearts. Mix until smooth and well combined.

  4. 4

    Season the Dip

Add salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.

  5. 5

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Pour the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.

  6. 6

    Bake the Dip

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.

Pita Strips Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare Pita Bread

While the dip is baking, preheat a frying pan over medium heat. Cut the pita bread into triangles.

  2. 8

    Fry Pita Strips

In a bowl, toss the pita triangles with olive oil and salt. Place them in the hot frying pan and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

  3. 9

    Serve

Remove the pita strips from the pan and drain on paper towels. Serve warm alongside the baked spinach artichoke dip.
