Pancake Preparation
- 1
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- 2
Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted unsalted butter until fully mixed.
- 3
Combine Wet and Dry
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are fine.

- 5
Cook Pancakes
Pour about 1/4 cup of the pancake batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
- 6
Flip Pancakes
Carefully flip the pancakes with a spatula and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown on both sides.
- 7
Serve
Transfer cooked pancakes to a plate. Repeat until all batter is used. Serve warm with maple syrup, fresh berries, and a dusting of powdered sugar, if desired.
