Method

Prepare the Pizza Base

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure the dry ingredients are evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Add Wet Ingredients

Add the olive oil and water to the dry ingredients. Stir until the mixture forms a dough.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Roll Out the Dough

Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll each part out into a circle about ¼ inch thick.

Prepare the Topping

  1. 5

    Cook the Ground Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.

  2. 6

    Season the Beef

Add the taco seasoning to the cooked beef along with a splash of water. Stir and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. 7

    Assemble the Pizza

On a baking sheet or pizza stone, place one rolled-out dough. Spread the seasoned beef evenly over the dough, followed by the pico de gallo, black olives, and finally top with shredded jack cheese.

  4. 8

    Grill the Pizza

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Carefully transfer the pizza onto the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve

  1. 9

    Slice and Serve

Remove the pizza from the grill, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice into wedges. Serve with a side of sour cream.
