Chicken Tenders

Dipping Sauces (optional)

Method

Preparing the Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Coat the Chicken

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture. Ensure they are evenly coated.

Cooking the Chicken Tenders

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 5

    Fry the Tenders

Carefully add the breaded chicken tenders to the hot oil, cooking in batches if necessary. Fry for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 6

    Drain the Chicken

Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serving the Chicken Tenders

  1. 7

    Plate and Serve

Arrange the chicken tenders in a basket or on a serving plate. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces.
