Pizza Dough Preparation
- 1
Activate the Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- 2
Mix the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- 3
Knead the Dough
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4
Let the Dough Rise
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Pizza Assembly
- 5
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) while the dough is rising.
- 6
Prepare the Chicken Mixture
In a bowl, mix the diced grilled chicken with buffalo sauce until well coated.
- 7
Roll Out the Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- 8
Spread Cream Cheese
Spread softened cream cheese evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough.
- 9
Add Chicken Mixture
Layer the buffalo chicken mixture over the cream cheese evenly.
- 10
Add Cheddar Jack Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar jack cheese over the buffalo chicken.
- 11
Bake the Pizza
Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- 12
Add Bleu Cheese Crumbles
Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle bleu cheese crumbles on top. Let it cool for a few minutes.
- 13
