Preparing the Prawns

Boil the Prawns
In a large pot, bring 1 litre of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and the prawns. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the prawns turn pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

Add Lemon Juice
Drizzle 2 tablespoons of lemon juice over the cooled prawns and toss gently to coat.
Making the Marie Rose Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a bowl, mix together 200 grams of mayonnaise, 100 grams of ketchup, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.

Season the Sauce
Add 1 teaspoon of paprika, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir until the sauce is well combined and smooth.
Assembling the Prawn Cocktail

Prepare the Serving Dish
Arrange 4 lettuce leaves on a serving plate as a bed for the prawns.

Add Prawns and Sauce
Place the lemon-dressed prawns on top of the lettuce and generously drizzle the Marie Rose sauce over the prawns.

Finish by adding lemon wedges around the plate for garnish and a touch of freshness.
