Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

  2. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the chopped vegetables and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender but still crisp.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Combine Pasta and Vegetables

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Drizzle with the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil, then season with salt and black pepper. Toss everything together until well combined.

  2. 5

    Finish with Cheese and Basil

Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped basil until well mixed. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Plate the pasta primavera and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired. Serve warm.
