Seasonal Vegetables

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Rub each salmon fillet with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Cooking the Vegetables

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and trim the asparagus, slice the bell peppers into strips, and peel and slice the carrots into thin rounds.

  2. 5

    Grill the Vegetables

Place the vegetables on the grill alongside the salmon. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender and slightly charred.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the stick of unsalted butter.

  2. 7

    Add Garlic and Lemon Juice

Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and lemon juice. Stir and cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 8

    Finish the Sauce

Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley. Set aside.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

On a serving plate, place the grilled salmon fillets and arrange the grilled seasonal vegetables beside them.

  2. 10

    Drizzle the Sauce

Generously drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon and vegetables before serving.
