Churros

Fruit Salad

Method

Churros

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dough

In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms. Let cool slightly, then add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

  2. 2

    Fry the Churros

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe churros into the hot oil, frying until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and coat with cinnamon sugar.

Fried Chicken

  1. 3

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, mix buttermilk and hot sauce. Add chicken thighs and marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Coating

In another bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 5

    Fry the Chicken

Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off. Dredge in the flour mixture, then fry in hot oil until cooked through and crispy. Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.

Fruit Salad

  1. 6

    Prepare the Fruit Salad

In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries, blueberries, banana, and kiwi. Drizzle with honey and lime juice, tossing gently to combine.
